U.S. based DJ Jeff Duran developed his passion for the beat by his steady diet of 90s Hip Hop, Freestyle and Hard Rock back in the day. Duran burst onto the global scene with his unreleased compilations of artists ranging from Britney Spears to 21 Savage. These mix tapes caught the attention of music fans and industry professionals alike, with some getting over 1 million downloads online .
Duran began his career as a child actor. At age 10, Jeff was able to obtain management and sign with the Savage Agency. The later resulting in bit parts on television and in film. In his later teens, Duran became a radio DJ and also started performing stand up comedy under the name "J.J. Star". Jeff's presence on radio helped his edgy stand up act, eventually opening for national headliners Dave Attell and Doug Stanhope. Duran landed radio jobs in Los Angeles (KLSX 97.1), San Bernardino (X1039), and Ventura CA(KOCP 93.5) where he launched the Duran Show in 2007. The Duran Show was one of the first radio shows in the U.S. to interview and feature artists like Lady Gaga & YG. Duran left radio in 2013 for lucrative gigs as a resident DJ in several Southern California nightclubs. Duran also begun working on several music projects as a producer and songwriter for other artists. These collaborations produced exclusive content Jeff has been able use on his compilations, resulting in universal distribution on itunes and Amazon.
